Geofence

A geofence is a drawn boundary used as a rule, not a physical fence and not a satellite feature.

Definition

A geofence is a circle or polygon associated with a place (yard, customer, jobsite). After a tracker reports a coordinate, software tests whether that coordinate is inside the shape and whether the previous report was not. That change can trigger a notification.

TruckerPro status

Geofence evaluation is on the pilot roadmap. Read the geofence guide for design rules.
